cardpeek software package provides Tool to read the contents of ISO7816 smartcards, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cardpeek
cardpeek is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cardpeek package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cardpeek *
You will get with cardpeek package name, version, architecture and description in a table
